Ingredients:
For the Beef Filling:
1 lb ground beef
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ cup diced onions
6 slices crispy bacon, chopped
For the Creamy Cheese Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
For Assembling the Burrito:
4 large flour tortillas
½ cup shredded lettuce
½ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup pickles, chopped
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup mayonnaise (optional)
Directions:
Make the Beef Filling:
Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
Season the Meat: Stir in salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and diced onions. Cook for 2 more minutes until onions are softened.
Add the Bacon: Stir in crispy chopped bacon and mix well. Remove from heat.
Make the Creamy Cheese Sauce:
Prepare the Roux: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Add Milk & Seasoning: Slowly pour in milk, whisking constantly. Stir in Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.
Melt the Cheese: Reduce heat and add shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Burrito:
Warm the Tortillas: Heat tortillas for 15-20 seconds in a dry skillet or microwave.
Layer the Ingredients: Spread a spoonful of cheese sauce onto the center of each tortilla. Add beef and bacon mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese. Drizzle with more cheese sauce and mayo (if using).
Fold & Wrap: Fold in the sides, then roll the burrito tightly.
Grill (Optional): For a crispy finish, grill the burrito in a skillet for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
