Ingredients (makes 4 burgers)
For the sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp French dressing (or Thousand Island)
1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
1 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
For the burgers:
1½ lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
Salt & pepper to taste

2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
½ cup diced onions (rehydrated dried minced onion works like McDonald’s)
Dill pickle slices

Instructions
1. Make the special sauce – Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour for best flavor.
2. Prep the buns – Slice your burger buns so you have:
4 tops
8 bottoms (4 for bottoms, 4 for the middle bun layer)
Toast them lightly on the Blackstone until golden.
3. Cook the patties –
Preheat the Blackstone to medium-high.
Form the beef into thin patties slightly larger than the buns (they’ll shrink).
Season with salt and pepper.
Smash them on the griddle and cook 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
4. Assemble the Big Mac style – For each burger:
Bottom bun: Special sauce → onions → lettuce → cheese → patty.
Middle bun: More sauce → onions → lettuce → patty → cheese.
Top bun: More sauce → onions → lettuce → 2–3 pickle slices → place on top.
5. Serve immediately while hot and melty!
Pro tip for Blackstone flavor: Butter your buns before toasting, and let the beef cook in its own fat for that perfect crispy edge.
