Ingredients:
Option 1: Using Pre-made Rolls (like Pillsbury)
1 can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing packet included)
Butter or nonstick spray
Option 2: From Scratch Dough
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¾ cup milk
¼ cup butter (melted)
Cinnamon Sugar Filling:
½ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
3 tbsp softened butter
Icing:
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
(Or use the icing from the store-bought can)
👨🍳 Instructions:
✅ For Store-Bought Rolls:
1. Preheat the Blackstone griddle to low to medium-low heat.
2. Lightly butter or oil the griddle.
3. Place the cinnamon rolls spaced apart on the griddle.
4. Cover with a dome or metal bowl to help them cook through evenly (you can add a bit of water under the dome to steam).
5. Cook about 4–5 minutes per side, flipping once, until golden and cooked through.
6. Once done, spread the icing on top while warm.
🥖 For Homemade Cinnamon Rolls:
1. Make Dough: Mix dry ingredients, add milk and butter, knead into a dough.
2. Roll out into a rectangle, spread softened butter, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
3. Roll into a log and slice into rounds.
4. Follow same cooking steps as above.
5. Whisk icing ingredients and drizzle over rolls once cooked.
