Ingredients:
1 can sliced potatoes (drained and rinsed)
2–3 tbsp oil or butter (or a mix)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular)
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Optional: pinch of chili flakes or Cajun seasoning for spice
Instructions:
1. Prep the potatoes
Open the can, drain well, and rinse the potatoes to remove excess starch and brine. Pat dry with a paper towel.
2. Heat the griddle
Preheat your Blackstone (or skillet) to medium-high heat. Add oil/butter and let it get hot.
3. Cook the potatoes
Spread the sliced potatoes out in a single layer. Let them cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes so they get crispy.
Flip and continue cooking another 4–6 minutes, until golden brown and crisp around the edges.
4. Season
Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper while cooking. Toss to coat evenly.
5. Finish & Serve
Cook until crispy on both sides. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Serve hot as a side dish for breakfast, burgers, or steak.
