Blackstone Sloppy Joe Quesadillas

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ¼ Onion diced
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • ½ cup Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Yellow Mustard
  • 4 Burrito Size Flour Tortillas 10 inch tortillas
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese shredded

Instructions

    • Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
    • Brown the ground beef with the diced onion on the Blackstone grill over medium high heat until no longer pink and browned.
    • Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until the garlic is aromatic.
    • In a small bowl, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar and mustard.
  • Top the beef with this mixture.  Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  • Heat over medium high heat for 2-3 minutes.  Push the ground beef to a cooler side of the Blackstone grill.
  • Place the tortillas on the Blackstone grill.  Add the beef mixture evenly to half the tortilla and top each one with ¼ cup of each of the shredded cheeses.
  • Fold the tortilla in half.  Cook until the bottom of the quesadilla is golden brown (2-3 minutes).
  • Flip and cook until the opposite side is also golden brown (2-3 more minutes) and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the Blackstone Grill. Slice each of the quesadillas, serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days.
