Grilled Mexican Green Peppers (Chiles Asados)

Ingredients:

Fresh green chiles (Anaheim, Hatch, or poblano work great)

Olive oil

Salt (to taste)

Optional: garlic powder, lime juice, or Mexican crema

🔪 Instructions:

1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.

2. Rinse and dry the peppers.

3. Drizzle olive oil over them and toss to coat evenly.

4. Place the peppers on the hot griddle.

5. Grill for about 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the skin is charred and blistered on all sides.

6. Sprinkle with salt while hot.

7. Optional:

Peel the skin off for a milder flavor.

Drizzle lime juice or serve with Mexican crema for extra flavor.

Chop and use in tacos, burritos, or quesadillas.

Blend into a salsa.

Serve whole with grilled meat or eggs.
