I noticed a lot of posts here are about cleaning or seasoning tips, with not as many actual recipes being shared—so here’s one of my go-to favorites that gets requested all the time at home. If you’re into juicy, cheesy burgers with big flavor, you’re going to love this one!
Ingredients:
• 2 lbs of 80/20 ground beef
• 4 oz pepper jack cheese, finely cubed
• 4 oz mild cheddar cheese, finely cubed
• 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
• 6 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 egg
• Onion powder (to taste)
• Garlic powder (to taste)
• Coarse sea salt (to taste)
• Ground black pepper (to taste)
• Magic seasoning blend (like Meat Magic or similar – optional but recommended)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well by hand until everything is evenly distributed.
2. Form into patties—quarter-pounders work great for this recipe.
3. Preheat your Blackstone griddle (I use the 36”) and set burners 1 and 2 to low heat.
4. Cook the burgers on the hot side. Expect a little mess from the melting cheese inside the patties—but trust me, it’s worth it!
5. Bonus tip: The crispy cheese that melts onto the spatula? Don’t waste it. It’s delicious.
6. For extra cheesiness, add a slice of mild cheddar on top just before removing them from the grill.
