Spicy Baked Cheez-It Crackers

Ingredients

1 box (12–13 oz) Cheez-It crackers

¼ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter for richer flavor)

1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)

1–2 tsp garlic powder

1–2 tsp smoked paprika or chili powder (for spice, optional)

½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.

2. Mix seasoning – In a large bowl, combine oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne (if using).

3. Coat crackers – Add Cheez-Its to the bowl, toss until fully coated with seasoning.

4. Bake – Spread crackers evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20–30 minutes, stirring halfway through so they crisp evenly.

5. Cool & store – Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Tip:
You can swap ranch mix for taco seasoning, BBQ seasoning, or even parmesan + Italian herbs for different flavors.
