Ultimate Bacon Barbecue Burger with Onion Rings

Ingredients:

For the Burger Patties:

1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20) πŸ₯©
1 tsp salt πŸ§‚
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder πŸ§„
For the Onion Rings:

1 large onion, sliced into rings πŸ§…
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten πŸ₯š
Vegetable oil for frying
For the Toppings:

4 slices crispy bacon πŸ₯“
2 slices cheddar cheese πŸ§€
Lettuce leaves πŸ₯¬
1/4 cup barbecue sauce πŸ”₯
For the Buns:

2 brioche burger buns 🍞

1 tbsp melted butter 🧈

Instructions:

Prepare the Patties:

Mix ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Form into two large patties slightly larger than the buns.
Cook the Patties:

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Make the Onion Rings:

Dip onion slices into flour, then beaten egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a skillet and fry onion rings until golden and crispy.
Place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Cook the Bacon:

Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on a paper towel.
Toast the Buns:

Lightly brush the brioche buns with melted butter.
Toast on a skillet or grill until golden brown.
Assemble the Burger:

Spread a layer of barbecue sauce on the bottom bun.
Add lettuce, an onion ring, the beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and more barbecue sauce.
Top with the other bun.
Serve:
