Ingredients :
1 pound ground beef 1 small onion finely chopped 2 cloves of garlic, chopped Salt and pepper to taste 8 slices of bread 8 slices of cheddar 4 tablespoons of softened butter.
Instructions :
Cook the ground beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion and garlic until the beef is brown and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain excess fat and set beef mixture aside. Assemble sandwiches: Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the unbuttered side of 4 slices, place a slice of cheese, followed by a portion of the ground beef mixture and another slice of cheese. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side out. Cooking sandwiches: Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook the sandwiches until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
