Ingredients:
1/4 cup popcorn kernels
1 tablespoon butter (more if desired)
1–2 tablespoons cooking oil (vegetable or avocado oil works great)
Salt (to taste)
Optional: seasoning (ranch, chili powder, parmesan, etc.)
🔥 Instructions:
1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium heat.
2. Add oil and butter on the griddle. Let the butter melt completely.
3. Pour the popcorn kernels into the melted butter/oil mixture. Use a spatula to gently mix and coat all the kernels.
4. Cover the kernels with a metal bowl, large foil pan, or dome lid to trap the heat. (Very important for popping.)
5. Let the popcorn pop! Shake or move the dome occasionally to prevent burning. Popping should start in about 1–2 minutes and last for about 3–5 minutes.
6. Remove from heat when popping slows down (2–3 seconds between pops).
7. Carefully lift the lid, season your popcorn with salt and any other seasonings you like.
8. Serve and enjoy warm!
