Test run for the holiday—happening today!
I grabbed a big box of Chex that includes Rice, Wheat, and Corn varieties (perfect mix!).
Let’s just say my measuring technique was “generous”—enough to cover the entire 28″ Blackstone.
Start by combining everything in a large bowl and get ready for a deliciously crispy, griddled snack!
1/3 cup of each Chex cereal
Husband handful of each of the following:
Cheez-Its
Oyster Crackers
Goldfish pretzels
Gardetto Rye Crackers – I didn’t have any 🙁
Wife handful of each of the following:
Peanuts
Salt & Vinegar Almonds
Combine in a small bowl
1/2 tb salt, garlic, paprika, smoke seasoning, thyme
A good amount of powdered ranch seasoning
Melt and combine in a small pan
1 stick of butter
Start with 1 Tbs of Worchestershire
Heat Blackstone to lowest setting
Keep a close eye to make sure you’re not burning anything – may need to turn it off during the process
Spread snacks evenly over the blackstone for about 2 minutes
Mix them around after 1 minute
Slowly drizzle the butter/Wsauce mixture over the snacks
Mix everything around on the Blackstone
Sprinkle the spice mix over the snacks
Mix everything around again and spread out evenly
Keep an eye on it as it toasts – be careful not to burn
I left it on for maybe 4 minutes
Adjust spices and flavor to your taste
Enjoy!
