Blackstone 28" Flat Top Griddle
Grill Tongs
Ingredients
4 hot dogs
Instructions
Partially slice hot dogs on a diagonal and again on opposite diagonal to make a criss cross effect. Do not slice all the way through – just enough so when you bend the dog – you can see the marks.
4 hot dogs
Turn Blackstone onto medium high and when griddle is at 375º – add a light squirt of canola oil to the griddle surface (avoid olive oil – it has a low smoke point)
Place hot dogs on the hot surface – sprinkle with seasoning salt or a little salt & pepper
Cook for 2-3 min
Using tongs, roll hot dogs in seasoning
Cook 2-3 min more
Toast buns on Blackstone to warm for 1 minute (you can butter the hot dog buns lightly before putting them on the griddle if you like)
Remove hot dogs and buns from griddle and serve with ketchup, mustard, relish & more!
