Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp taco seasoning (or store-bought packet)
1 cup cooked white rice
1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce (or cheddar cheese sauce)
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese (or cheddar)
1/2 cup sour cream
4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
Optional: hot sauce, Chipotle sauce, or seasoned rice
🔥 Instructions:
1. Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
Drain excess fat if needed.
Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water.
Simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes). Set aside.
2. Prepare the Quesarito Base:
On a skillet or griddle, sprinkle shredded cheese on one tortilla and top with another tortilla (like a quesadilla).
Cook until the cheese is melted and the outside is golden brown. This becomes the cheesy outer shell.
3. Build the Quesarito:
In the center of the cheesy tortilla, layer:
Warm rice
Taco-seasoned beef
Nacho cheese sauce
Sour cream
Optional: a dash of hot or chipotle sauce
4. Wrap it Up:
Fold like a burrito (sides in first, then roll tightly).
Toast on the skillet seam-side down for 1–2 minutes to seal and crisp.
✅ Tips:
You can use leftover rice or make quick Mexican rice with tomato bouillon.
Add jalapeños, beans, or more cheese if you like it loade
