Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
8 slices of bacon, cut in half
½ cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Cooking spray or oil (for greasing)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease with cooking spray or oil.
Wrap the Chicken:
Wrap each chicken piece with a half slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick. Place the wrapped chicken bites on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
Prepare the Glaze:
In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Glaze the Chicken:
Brush the maple glaze generously over the bacon-wrapped chicken bites, ensuring each piece is well coated.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning the chicken bites halfway through and brushing with additional glaze. Cook until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through.
Serve:
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm. These Maple Glazed Bacon Chicken Bites are perfect as an appetizer or snack!
